I'm Matt Goodman — Staff Software Engineer at Setpoint, where I build the infrastructure powering asset-backed lending at scale. My background spans computer vision research at ByteDance, leading engineering at an AI startup, platform engineering, and full-stack development across fintech and enterprise SaaS.

I hold an MS in Computer Science from Penn, where I focused on computer vision and deep learning. Before that, I spent two years at Qualtrics building full-stack products at scale.

Outside of engineering I compete in golf tournaments (trained by my custom 0golf AI assistant) — I race long distances, train hard, and take the whole thing seriously. The discipline translates.
